why must we evolve?
like sugar, a charming sweet crystalline, life will dissolve
what once was new, is forever old
do you always believe what you've been told?
so day by day the world grows old
but in reverse, history's pages i fold
and still each year we feel less cold
we ruin what was once so beautiful and bold
things can be bought but not always sold
so think carefully and choose wisely
things wont always be the same
people do grow, things do change
